HOW TO USE
Chiropractors have the unique understanding of anatomy and neurophysiology, coupled with amazing palpation skills, which makes for the perfect skill set to learn how to properly implement cold laser therapy treatments very quickly for any issue or complaint.
When treating a patient with the PainBuster® we have thoroughly tested and found that following a therapeutic order or treatment hierarchy yields quick & super-efficient results for any issue or complaint. The treatment hierarchy is as follows: lymphatics, circulatory, nerves & dermatomes, acupuncture points (if trained) and finally treatment of the target tissue. Most of the time, only 1-3 steps are needed in the treatment hierarchy to yield desired results.
For smaller areas, lymphatics, circulation, nerves or painful joints (i.e. medial Xiyan or inner eye of the knee), for 30 seconds to 5 minutes, you can strap the PainBuster® device in the included PainBuster hands-free holster or using a flex arm mounted to a medical cart (not included), pinpointed over the painful area(s) with the laser emitter directly touching the bare skin until the desired treatment time or outcome is achieved.
For larger areas like a dermatome or sore and painful muscles (i.e. hamstring muscle), for 2 to 5 minutes+, you can manually scan the PainBuster® device over the entire treatment area with the laser emitter directly touching the bare skin and going over the area uniformly in a grid like pattern horizontally and vertically and repeating until the desired treatment time or outcome is achieved.
For athletes whether professional or weekend warriors, PainBuster® can be used as a pre-workout/game pre-conditioning and injury prevention strategy and post-workout/game accelerated recovery and injury prevention strategy. Pre-workout/game goals would be to pre-condition necessary nerve and muscle groups for that particular athlete which will load ATP directly into these target tissues prior to a workout or game. Post-workout/game goals would be to treat nerves, muscles and joints for that particular athlete which will reduce lactic acid, inflammation and increase ATP again for an accelerated recovery.
